    Hi ozn, John D was apparently in the workhouse, hopefully ill and not poor! As for baby Gladys I can only presume she died as she was there in 1901 and gone by 1911. It all appears sad at that time!! Hope your searches are better. Thanks for your help with mine. Gaynor
