Hello David, My husband just bought your excellent book as a present. He ordered it new from Amazon and it arrived within two days by the way. I have been researching family history for many years and I'm planning to give the results to my grandchildren when they reach 18 years. My Blore Ray connections are Harrison and Stubbs (no surprise there then!). Benjamin Harrison married Margaret Stubbs in Mayfield in 1816, her sister Hannah married Thomas Harrison in Mayfield in 1819 and both couples baptized their children subsequently in Blore Ray. Another sister Judith Stubbs married Edward Lees(e) and settled in Blore. Another two sisters, Elizabeth and Sarah were at Swinscoe village with Margaret Stubbs' illegitimate daughter Lucy in 1841. IGI lacks any pre 1813 baptisms for Blore Ray. Can I ask you whether you know that these are absent for some reason? Benjamin Harrison of Blore Ray is a brick wall for me at the moment. Best wishes, Helen
