Back after many months. Still looking for any information on William Hamilton Franks born in Monkstown, Dublin Ireland Set. 23rd 1865 & his extended family. Father William Hume Franks (Jnr) & mother Lucy Franks (nee White). Siblings Lucy & Katherine Henrietta Franks, Wife sarah Letitia Jones. William & Sarah married 16th July 1855 Dublin, Ireland & sailed for New Zealand approx 5 days later on the "Rimutaka".

... Still on the case of William Hamilton Franks & his wife Sarah Letitia Franks (nee Jones). Married Dublin 16th July 1855 & sailed for New Zealand from London (passengers boarded New Plymouth) to welling on the 21st May 1855. They arrived in Wellington on the 12th July on board the ship "Rimutaka". have found a very brief mention in a web site called angelfire that lists several passengers - "Mr. & Mrs. Franks".
Have tried to pull up a passenger list & have found one for the maiden voyage of the "Rimutaka" early in 1885.
