It mentions a John Henry Newell marrying in 1893, no other info.. and a John Newell born Gibraltar 1893/94.

Have been looking on the census searches and found a john B Newell living in Everton, aged 35, born Ireland and a sugar labourer.
Have you any way of checking to see if he had any family living with him on the census for 1901?
