I found some births on LDS, it was going wellbut then I noticed one of the dates was completely wrong. They had the parent being born after the child? I thought I could make a wild guess and say around 20 between them. But as I went futher back it through all the others out. What should I do?

Yes Margaret (mother) was called Heugh. I have Janet, Archibald, Margaret births, but not Mary or James. On IGI I cant find any more children belonging to Robert Donaldson and Margaret Heugh ? Its really weird.

Yes its the eldest two, Mary and James that I can't find birth records for, and yet they are on the census. I am confused, why would the siblings births be registered but not those two ?

Hi, I have been on Scotlands People, I don't know whats wrong (maybe its me) but I can't even find the births of the children I already know?

sorry been a while (had problems accessing site) Names of witnesses are John Weatherall (father?) and Sarah Weatherall. I now think I have found family on 1881 census , as it says on cert that father was a joiner.Which is what it says on census, I do think that was Ann on the census as a niece...

Thanks a lot, I thought I was going mad :confused:

I thought maybe the weather had eroded it and then at later date someone had redone it but got the wrong date.
