Hi, I'm looking for some help locating a WW1 record for the above man. He is on the 1911 Census as an Asylum Attendant at Willerby Yorkshire. Charles marries in 1913 to Harriet HANSON and they have 2 children b. 1913 & 1914. Another child later in 1920.

Here is a link to Henry's obituary in 1881 - 3 surviving daughters, 2 sons. Wife and 1 unmarried daughter in UK at the time of his death.

I'm more interested in the earlier years when William was with Emma but appreciate your time trying to find him. Elusive lot.
As Dave has searched for Emma three years ea side of 1881 without success, it looks like she's remained anonymous or maybe went o/s for a period.
Well that's interesting as Cooper seems to be the main occupation in the Knott family. John's elder brother Henry M Knott was a Cooper as well as their father.
Of course :) John's brother Henry is also missing off the 1861 Census but I have asked for extensive research on him before and...
Hi Julie, Interesting as I think Dave may have come up with that possible death date on another thread I posted on the Knotts.
It seems pretty likely that is her doesn't it.
Maybe as the younger 2 children were 10 and 13 around 1854, they may have gone to be with Mary Ann's side of the family...

In 1861 Emma's father is living with his new wife but the children aren't with him.
