    On his conduct record he states he robbed his father and his brother Andrew assisted. So appears he had a brother Andrew but the record does not state his father's name. I will see if I can find a newspaper article of his trial, it might note his father.

    Wow its been a while since this thread but I have never forgotten it, it was very interesting. One thing I would like to clear up for the newer members who post on this thread is that the "N WORD" was in fact for the word Negro. As someone complained the word Negro was removed.

    Josephine's parents were at Peats Ferry and she has memorials for them in the early 1890's with just loving daughter Josephine Lloyd. No mention of John. She also appears to be at Peats Ferry 1883 for a while as well, busted for selling liquor after hours, again no mention of John but mentions...

    Yes I agree. Actually I thought the kitchen would have been a bit more original looking with a big old stove etc in it but looks like its been modernised. Still it was good to see what inside looked like scary fireplace and all :LOL:

    Do you have facebook? If not even go online and see if there is a sell swap and buy in your area and advertise them there as a give away. I did that before I left the Towers and got rid of a lot of what I thought was to good to be thrown out. I had single mums etc needing stuff so it went to them.
