    Clergy of the Church of England Database

    I'll second that recommendation. The database contains quite detailed entries about former clergymen. I've found 3 or 4 of my family on there. They don't just include the positions and parishes, there is also some biographical info, such as education and even (in some cases) parentage.

    How did you get 'addicted' to Family History / Gen

    I started because my mum asked to find out about her great grandmother, who was an almost legendary figure in our family, but little was known about her origins. I became totally engrossed in the research and still am.
