Hi Julie I’m not too sure, Israel’s Son (9x ggfather) Isaac married a Mary Whitaker but the 1635 would seem too early. I think the record in the link you provided is them. Isaac and Mary had a son called Izaac which is a descendant for me so he definitely didn’t die as an infant.

I can find a Israel Gew, Gue or Giew buried Feb 1692 Gussage, All Saints. Do you think he would've been recorded everywhere as Israel if his birth name was Isaac? Was that something people did back then?

I'm not too sure, it could make sense as Israel called one of his children Isaac. Israel has been confusing me for over 3 months :ROFLMAO:
