    What does 'DK' mean under 'where born'

    Hi, I keep coming across the letters 'DK' in-between apostrophes under some people's places of birth in the 1871 census. For one man it just says DK, for another it says 'Scotland 'DK'' and for a few more 'London 'DK''. Does anyone have any idea what this means please?
