    Replying to threads

    Im still having problems with my cursor, I start at the bottom of the page & when I hover the cursor over the thread title it changes to a hand & I can click the link, but this only works for a few threads now, I have to refresh the page for the others. Jenn

    Im having cursor problems too, my cursor will not change to a hand when I hover over a thread title unless I start at the bottom of the page,then it works, im using google chrome.

    For me the two best features used to be, when you found anyone it would list the other members of the household, invaluable when searching common names & the option to look at the neighbours, I used to spend hours in villages going from one household to the next,sometimes you found other family...

    I returned to Australia from England after the death of my partner,he used to use Lynx mens deodorant,not long after I came back, I was alone in the house & suddenly out of no where the smell of Lynx in the lounge room was overpowering,it was realy strong & lasted for quite a while. Jenn

    Moggie57,Ive searched the 1841 & 1851 but no Doctor or undertaker, I looked up old occupations & the closest is Danter but thats a female overseer in a silk winding factory,Ive even looked through all wills I can find but nothing comes up,the more I look at it, the more the long ''squiggle''...

    Thats what I thought at first, but doesnt it normally say deceased under the name & still give the occupation, its a dreadfull way to put it given its a marriage cert.

    Hi Sue, When I sent for my dads army record it had very little information & its very difficult to read, my dad was a Chindit ,but no mention of this, only that for a while he was attached to special forces,he was in & out of hospital with Malaria & he went AWOl twice,once for 5 days...
