    I just had a look at my copy of Dorothy's birth record it says that she was born at 12 Thames Inn or it could be 12 Thaires Inn. I searched on Google maps and couldn't find this street. I live in Australia so I am not familiar with locations in London. Is there a hospital located at this address...

    If I could find the hospital that my great aunt Dorothy was born in then maybe the admission records may list a father? I will email Barts archives again. Perhaps Dorothy was born in the Mother's Hospital in Clapton too?

    Hi, Thank you to everyone that has replied. The Gardiner family tree on Ancestry is my tree. My grandfather Wilfred was sent to Australia as a child migrant to Fairbridge Farm in Pinjarra. I am assuming he must have been a black sheep as my great grandmother only sent him and not his siblings...
