PEACOCK - Birth Reg with mmn ?

Considering the other fibs that have been told on census involving Emily Bessie, it could well be that she just said Bristol, however, on the other hand we just may have another Bessie and another Daisy of the same ages and its just a big coincidence.

I couldn't find a marriage to George Jenkins, but Daisy's christening states father is George Jenkins not Charles Jenkins. Here is Daisy Jenkins with her grandmother in 1911 (Jenkins spelt wrongly) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X71X-CS9 Which Birth regs are you referring to?

PEACOCK - Birth Reg with mmn ?

This case of Emily Bessie Peacock/Moody/Bowden/Jenkins is so complex its hard to know where to start. Emily Bessie was born Emily Bessie Moody on 19th Feb 1878, Bath, Somerset, to Ann Moody (unmarried). In the 1881 census she is living with her grandparents Daniel and Harriet Moody in...

    Confusing records

Yes, I can see it would be confusing, but actually its not entirely wrong, as we would consider Abbots Leigh to be in Bristol, however, if you search for it in Google Maps even now it comes up as North Somerset, Bristol. The problem is that in the past boundaries changed and sometimes they have...

Im just looking through some old threads and wonder if you did find the reply to this one regarding Aaron and Ursula in 1851. They were in Bridgend, Glamorgan, Wales where Aaron is a labourer on the railway. They have their son William who was born in Wales and so was Aaron Junior subsequently...

Hello Dave, I have not been on the forum for a while now but I was in contact with you regarding the Daniel and Ann Peacock connection. I just came across this post regarding Absalom and it is quite strange because my friend and I did quite a lot of searching for him and he appears to be...
