Ok, here is an easy one for a change. :2fun:
Dec 8th, 1870 Wesleyan Methodist Church Wagga Wagga
John Smith Bachelor England Farmer 37 Wagga Wagga James Smith Jane (maiden name Davis) Farmer
Mary Marwood Whittle Spinster England - 23 Wagga Wagga William Whittle...
I think this is the first John SMITH I've dared seek. :D Mission almost impossible.
Born about 1833 England - parents James a farmer & Jane nee DAVIS.
John married in Australia in 1870. Certificate just says 'born England' so not much help.
I'd like a look up please for Emma Sewell SMITH in 1851 and 1841.
Emma's death reg has her father as Patrick but I'm not sure how reliable that is given the informant didn't know her mother's name.
If I had to guess I'd say her mother's name was Emma SEWELL, not that I have found...
Jessie HOUSTON b. 4 Jan 1854 Paisley

I'd like a look up for the family in 1881 please. If not Paisley then probably Lanarkshire.
