sorry i do not as she is as far back as i have got, i have her husbands family line, thank you for trying to help,:)
Hi,

I'm sorry I don't understand.. if you have her husbands family line then surely you have some certificates to prove your findings?

If she was born in 1828 she was probably 21 or over by the time she married, which gives a date of 1849 OR look for a marriage about the same time as the first child was born. Once you are armed with their marriage cert you can be confident that you will have a better chance of finding them in the 1841 census. (even though the 1841 census doesnt give relationships).

any of her childrens birth certificates will give you her maiden name (and also any previous names)

do you have any? at all? :)

Had a quick look on FreeBMD and found this:

Marriages Jun quarter 1847 (>99%)
ASHWORTH James Haslingden 21 313
Haythorn Ann Haslingden 21 313
Heaton Mary Wigan 21 313
Heyworth Thomas Haslingden 21 313
Howorth Mary Haslingden 21 313
Hoyle Jane Haslingden 21 313
Hoyle Richard Haslingden 21 313
NUTTALL Ann Haslingden 21 313
Wilson Richard Haslingden 21 313

this seems a likely candidate for them (in red?)

if you order the cert then this will give you both bride and grooms fathers names and also you will get bonus information perhaps with the witness'.

Dont get me wrong, but with 23 1841 census entries for Mary Howorth born + or - 2yrs of 1828,

trying to hit "your" family is a bit ticklish, I am presuming you are thinking that Jane is a sister to Mary?

Also there is the possiblity that Mary was "in service" then as well.

Hi Badger,
I have a number of Lancashire Howarths in my tree, my grandmother was Rachel Howarth, born in Habergam eves near Burnley in 1883, just wondered if you had come across her in your travels. Good luck with your searches, and if she and her family are of interest let me know.
best wishes
Pat
