Glen, just in case you did not know, but the Lancashire Fusiliers left Aden in 1914 when the TA Battalion the 1st Brecknockshires took over from them, and were part of the Gallipolli Landings "where they won 6 VC's before breakfast" - I have a friend that served with the Lancashire Fusiliers in Cyprus, and that saying is still remembered to this day. Sadly all the Fusilier Regiments (with the exception of the Royal Welch Fusiliers) were merged into one big regiment in the late 60's/early 70's from memory.
