Can anyone help me, I am looking for information about my Great-Great Uncle, Rifleman John Frederick Lowe who died of his wounds, the 4th of December 1917. He was with the 17th (County of London) Battalion(Poplar and Stepney Rifles). I know that there is a book called "The Poplars" about the Battalion but, I would like to know if, he's death might be in the war diaries of this unit. He is buried at Rocquigny-Equancourt British Cemetery.
You must know that I only found out about relative, yesterday.

I did get what I was looking for. It is showed that OR's(other ranks) on the 28/11/1917, that 25 were wounded but, the CO put a star by this number & put in the margins, 1 artillery??,which I think is my relative because he did died of wounds later & it does look like it was writed later. If, anyone think this is wrong, please tell me.
