Think it is Whitsker same as bride and I see Jas Davies. But could also be Jos. The minister I can't read but will go search a likely list!

Thanks Barbara.

I googled something very similar and didn't get that book.

I was going to say Lead.

I would have thought Whitaker more normal but def say it is the same name as the bride and took it you knew she was Whitsker? If you are not sure of her name either then yes Whitaker. It is only the a/s that is misleading us both and it is the same in both names.

Transcribed as Whitsker but I don't know which is correct.

Death of daughter in NSW not Qld. or Vic. so no chance of mmn on death reg.

Thanks for the info.

I don't have a son of Thomas in my tree.

Must be a very remote branch of my tree well off any main line.

I'm not even sure if that's the same Thomas as this one.

Margaret Caroline Elliott
Baptism: 23 Sep 1821 St Clement Danes, Westminster, Middlesex, England
Father: Thomas Elliott
Mother: Mary Ann
FHL Film 1042333
Reference ID: item 1 p 107

I think we need to show Thomas was a printer. If not then I have the wrong Thomas in post #1.

Marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of St. Marylebone in the County of Middlesex
No. 107 - 2nd May 1842
Robert Woodward - Of Full age - Bachelor - Smith - St. Marylebone - Wm. Woodward - Tailor
Margaret Elliott - Of Full age - Spinster - - - as above - Thos. Elliott - Printer
Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by me Edward Healy Thompson, Curate
Parties signed: Robert Woodward, Margaret Elliott Witnesses: Joseph Piper, Mary Woodward

If we are lucky then Thomas is in the 1841 census in Middlesex, but it's a common name.

Margaret born 1821 in 1841 census?

Can an image be found of the 1821 baptism showing Thomas as a printer?

Thanks Geoff.

Father is a printer but is the Margaret in #14 the same as the one in #15. If so then the baptism is the only place that shows a middle name - not the marriage, not the births of children, and not her death that has age out and father as George E?

NSW Death 15143/1885 WOODWARD MARGARET - GEORGE E - DIED GUNNING GUNNING * 3 Jun * age 61

It's the right death for the Margaret who married Robert Woodwood.
