1851/61 census Brady

Please would SKP look up 1851/61 census for a Mary Ann Walsh born 1842 Bangalore India ,Mother Elizabeth no other details. In 1861 living in the Toxteth area of Liverpool. thankyou.

Hi Rose,

Theres nothing for a Mary Ann Brady born in India in 1851/61. Quite possible that her pob is down as Liverpool or around that area.

Hi Julie, thanks for your reply, I found Mary Ann in 1881 census on family search but cant find details of her birth other then 1842/3 Ive tried Fibis but no luck , i was given a pos 2 Mary Anns born Bangalore 1842, but no dates and when i tried to send for birth certs(mainly to find the names of her parents) i was required to put date and month which i dont have , thought if i could find her in 1851/61 she would possiably be with her parents, well back to the drawing board ,and thanks again .Rosa.

Have you any other cenus info? In 1891 theres a Mary Brady in the workhouse born abt 1843 Kurnel India. Probaly should be Karnal which is in the district/presidency of Punjab/Bengal.

Forgot this Maurice Brady in 1881 is a Chelsea Pensioner. Try the National Archives at Kew.

Thanks Julie for all the info, got 2 possiable births for Mary in Bangalore which another ancestor thinks might be her so i will have to probably send up for both to hopefully get the right one. I did have that info on Maurice Which i found a while back on Fibis , ive also emailed the India office but they couldnt find a birth for Mary Ann either .
I have most of the census,s for Mary Ann after she married Maurice Brady but nothing before , well I will keep searching and thanks again for your time and help . Rosa.
