1851 Hales or Dowsett

#1
Lookup please - Elizabeth Hales or Dowsett; Richard Hales or Dowsett

In census 1841 Kilsby Northamptonshire John Hales (butcher) had two children:
Elizabeth b 1833 and Richard b.1838.
Both are London born.

In 1846 John and Ann Hales had a son Thomas Dowsett Hales baptised in Kilsby. No sign of Thomas either in 1851 so assume he died as an infant.

In 1851 neither Elizabeth or Richard are with the parents, who are now going by the name Dowsett and still in Kilsby.

In 1853 Elizabeth Ann Hales married John Prestidge in Kilsby. Her fathers name is given as John Hales.(butcher). So she must have been around somewhere for census 1851.

John Prestidge died in 1856 and Elizabeth Ann married William Coy in 1859. Their daughter Rosa O'coy b.1860 is living with John Hales/Dowsett, in Kilsby in 1871.

I think Richard could be the Richard Dowsett who married Emma Hambler in 1856 Rugby. In 1881 (Northampton)his birth year is 1838 of London

I hope this isn't to confusing. It's all Julie's fault bless her, that started this
wandering weave.
