James Doy (b East Rudham, Norfolk) married Hannah Johnson (nee Bunting) in 1871. I have a copy of their marriage certificate.

Hannah had previously been married to John Johnson (Johnston). I have found no children from this marriage.

James had been previously married to Isabella Wilson and their child, Robert, died as a baby followed swiftly by Isabella (we think as a result of childbirth).

James's and Hannah's first child, Ellen, died as a baby.

Hannah was born at Cassop, Co Durham on 1 May 1842. On one occasion only her surname was spelled as Bounton but the family was Bunting.
