I think it says Cotton although the t's haven't been crossed. Looking at the images of the pages either side the Enumerator often seems to omit the last o from cotton. However whether she was a Cotoon Winder, Cotton Piecer or Cotton Doffer, or did anything else with cotton we'll never know!

Doubt that. Latin is very rarely used in occ. Think it's Cottn = cotton but usually followed by another word.
