I can't see an occupation for William looks like it's blank, but Samuel's looks like Clerk.

Thanks Amanda.

Samuel was a hotel keeper in Tasmania. He spent short periods in and out of gaol after he was granted a pardon. No idea what occupation he followed in his latter years in Sydney.

It looks like Covt = Convict but he received his pardon years before.

Thanks Ellie.

Rather curious with number on both edges of all pages. The numbers on right hand side of left page are not even in sequence.

Looks like the register has been renumbered but ...

It's not a convict number as the following shows Samuel's

CON27/1/11 (Image 116)
No: 17073 Name: Adlem Samuel Trade: Groom Offence: Stealing a purse Where Tried: Exeter Sentence: 15 Native Place: Warminster Age: 22

Also don't know why BMD has 6th for William.
