I couldn't find George senior in 1881, now I know why. Just think, you can tell people one of your ancestors was a Muppet!

Actually when you look at the image it looks like the enumerator has put on one of those long f or s like letters which denotes a double s - easily misread as a p.

In 1911 Jane Eleanor is in Leyton, Essex, still down as married. She's living with son Alfred Charlton Mussett and his family and in the columns for mariage, children etc, although it has been crossed out she states married 40 years, 4 choldren born alive, 3 living.

Can't find george in 1911 but have found a probable death

George Mussett Mar 1903 Pancras 1b 92 age 60

Somehow I don't think they divorced.

Emily is down as a widow in 1911. States she was married 9 years but I can't find a marriage which fits unless George changed his second Christian name of Winder to something else!

Thanks Emeltee.

Something is not right.

1891
MUSSETT Florence J dau 18 Draper’s Assistant Hanwell Middlesex
MUSSETT Alfred C son 15 Hat Wirers? Lambeth
MUSSETT Ethel K dau 11 Scholar Clapton
MUSSETT Ernest J son 9 Scholar Clapton

Charles = Alfred C
Ernest John did make it to Australia and he died there.
Ethel Kate is accounted for.

So Florence must have died before 1911.

I'll resume tomorrow.
