1881 census shows him living at the White Horse Inn, Ilminster
Occupation - Inn Keeper age 43
with his wife Martha Ferris b. 1839 South Petherton, Somerset
son - Albert Edward Ferris b. 1868 West Coker, Somerset
son - Henry Spearing Ferris b. 1870 West Coker, Somerset

Hi Mirella, David Ferris is at Butts Castle on the 1891 census. He is listed as widower occ gardener age 52 born Wimborne Doreset.
