1891 look up thomas pearson Northumberland please.

This might be looking for a needle in a haystack. :(

Looking for William Pearson born abt 1883 think it might be Hexham (i hope), he married Dorothy Harvey in 1914 Hexham Northumberland, on his marriage cert it had his father Thomas Pearson, that is all i know of him, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Julie,
got a bit confused with census :) , understand now though.
I found Thomas Pearson Marriage to Hannah Thompson 1881, i also found Thomas Pearson, Elizabeth Cass 1881 Hexham, so not really sure who he married, can't be 100% sure that thats my Thomas, how frustrating, any ideas? shame he didn't have a more unusual name.
Do you think it's any good asking for a look up on the 1861&1871 census, but then i don't really know if it is the right Thomas.
Strange that Thomas had a daughter Dorothy J, William married a Dorothy Jane, wont go down that track i'll only get confused :) .

Thanks again.

The 1901 census/1891 looks a good possibilty for Thomas, as you say he had a daughter Dorothy J. I amended my posting to 1871 which lists Mary Hunter with Thomas and John Pearson.
If this is the right family in 1881 Mary Hunter is with sons Thomas Pearson, John Pearson and son William Hunter.

There is a family of Pearsons listed with them is grandsons Thomas and they have a daughter Mary who is u/m born Warden.

Marriage 1864.
June 1/4
District Hexham

John Hunter
Jane Ann Paxton
Mary Pearson
Thomas Walker
Thank you Julie,
Is Thomas's mother Mary, who married John Hunter they can't have been married very long before he died, do you think Thomas's Father must have died, i'll have to look for Mary's first marriage, but then i don't know his first name, is there any easy way to find out?
Hi Lightly,

I would go for Williams birth certificate to make sure you are on the right path. The family seem to fit, but sometimes certficates are needed to make sure. I will post the 1861 census (on the relevant board) and see what you think of it.
