I am looking for John Thomas Hutchinson born in Wigan (Goose Green) in 1892. I am trying to find out the name of his parents. I believe he had brothers named George and Fred and sisters named Alice and Louise possibly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am so disappointed that you could not find anything about my grandfather. I just dont know what else to look for. I do know that eventually he moved to St Helens and was a coal miner. I believe his father may have been one too. I am surprised that you could find no reference to the family as well. My mother remembers going to Wigan to visit relatives. (she grew up in St Helens) Unfortunately she cannot remember their names. My uncle who still lives in SH remembers the names of his father's brothers and sisters but not much else. Thanks for looking for me. It was worth a shot.

Hello

There is a John Thomas Hutchinson, who married
Elizabeth Ellen Nuttall,St Nathaniels, Platt Bridge Wigan
1912.This is on the Lancashire BMD site, maybe you
could phone Wigan library and find out where the
local church records are kept, and you will see the orignal
marriage certificate.

I hope that this man and woman are the one's you are
looking for.

Thank you all for your replies. Yes Elizabeth Ellen Nuttal was married to my grandfather...but I believe she died of TB and he later married my grandmother. I did finally get a birth certificate for John Thomas Hutchinson and it does tell me my g grandparents names...Now I am onto the next generation...i am having some success...but it is like plowing a field of rocks. :) thanks for your help
