Would someone please check the 1901 census for JAMES BRIERLEY b @ 1862 in Bury there may be 2 children SARAH ELLEN b 1881 and LEVI b 1885.

I couldnt find a James Brierley in 1901 with the details you gave, but there is a family surname Midgley 2 of the children are Sarah E and Levi B. An alternative name of Brierley has been submited for Sarah and Levi and also Hannah M Midgley wife of Joseph Midgley.

ships staward
he was a ships staward in 1911 and 1909 when he married in gateshead
on his marrage cert was born in 1878
on his army recored he was born in 1874 both london
father on marrage cert george sparrow no mother that we can fined
next of kin his wife in 1909

Hi re. Sparrow family

Not sure how this got on my threads, I am not researching the Sparrow family. Anyway I have done a little digging and really needs a little more info. I presume you are looking for Alfred M A Sparrow who married Margaret Leybourne Parker in 1901 Gateshead and had ch: JOHN 1912, ALFRED 1914, EDWARD P 1921 AND WILLIAM 1924 all born Gateshead.

Can only find 1 Alfred Sparrow with a father GEORGE and Alfred appears on 1901 census as a servant (b @1879 in Pancras London) in Shoreditch with the Powell family. On 1881 census this Alfred is the son of GEORGE SPARROW b 1841 in Frome Somerset and his occupation is "French Polisher", and FANNY (nee BUTLER) b 1843 Tuxfold, Nottinghamshire. In 1881 George and Fanny were living in St Pancras with childrem, FANNY W 1866 (born Reading), ALBERT 1872 (born Islington), OLIVER 1874 (b St Pancras) and ALFRED b 1878 (born St. Pancras), George's sisters, LOUISA JANE and EMILY SPARROW are living with the family. GEORGE and FANNY were married St Pancras in 1864. They also had a son GEORGE THEODORE SPARROW b 1868 in Islington.
GEORGE SPARROW was the son of JAMES SPARROW b 1821 Frome Somerset and JANE ? b 1821 Frome, Somerset and in 1851 GEORGE and JANE were living in Frome with childred, GEORGE 1840, JAMES 1842, LOUISA 1846 AND ALFRED 1851.

Please let me know if you think this could be the family you are looking for

alfred michael angelo sparrow is what iam looking for
he spoke italian so i think some one in the family must of been italian
we have no info on his family so not to sure ?
