Thanks Geoff.

I was stuck on that first letter.

That's one of the rare deaths from SP that's easy to read.

Yes, Sarah is with her grandmother in 1841 and by 1851 is married.

I'm trying to see if her father John can be found in 1851.

Might be two grandchildren there in 1841.

Can't find a birth for Jemima or James Gordon.

Looks as though no births for any in Glencairn. Sarah and siblings not found.

Thanks Geoff.

Not finding anything so far in SP to connect them.

I'll look for marriages now. No female Dunkeld marriages 1820 - 1840 to anyone with names similar to McCulloch or Gordon/Garden/Gardon.

There are links on Anc, suggesting Mary married a Gordon..

Geoff

EDIT: Not seeing how it fits, will look for a tree.

Thanks Geoff.

Family either didn't register events or some Glencairn records are missing.

Barbara McCure.

I have not tried to connect the Kerr in 1841. Perhaps Janet was a Dunkeld? Sarah's sister ?? EDIT not a sister.

Marriage not found.

A couple of trees have these as siblings of Sarah.. They appear in 1841 with her.

"Mary Sherr
1832–

Barbara Sherr
1835–

William Sherr
1840–"

Geoff

EDIT: They must be half-siblings [different surnames in 1841, Sarah = Dunkeld]

Siblings or Cousins?

I'm confused now. Sarah's father is 59 in 1841 and her grandmother is 65. How can that fit?

I've posted the birth for William and his mother is Janet McClure.
