Thank you Judy,
The Ben H Stray I am seeking married Edith Maud Murray in 1890, I have them in the 1891 census but from then on nothing apart from some trees mention Canada and 1906 census.
They had 2 children Herbert Hugh Stray b Sep 1891 and Henry Frederick Stray (registered Murray) Jun 1890 (before the marriage) from then on nothing on any off them. I also believe that Edith must have died prior to 1912 as she is not mentioned in her fathers will!

Hi Peter,
I thought I'd check the land grants for you: there is a Frank Henry Murray that received a grant--no date unfortunately but by the item # it was later than the other below. Here are the particulars:
Name: Frank Henry Murray
Part: SW Section: 13 Township: 58 Range 9, Meridian W5, Folio 120, Liber: 900
Microfilm Reel Number: C-6662 Item Number: 616784
Also a Henry Murrray Item #43450 from 1890 but that is too early.
Did you look at Geni? There is Benjamin Charles Herbert Stray that married Edith Maud Murray.
Happy Hunting
Judy
