MR. J. G. EDWARDS.
The death occurred yesterday at his residence Springdale, Marion-street, Killara, of Mr. James George Edwards, a pioneer of the North Shore line, at the age of 84 years. Mr. Edwards was born in Tasmania, and came to Sydney when a child. He resided in the Gordon and Lane Cove districts during practically the whole of his lifetime, and played a prominent part in the development of the northern suburbs.
