Nat Advocate Mon 30 April 1934 – Wedding
FLETCHER— CORNWELL
A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the William Street Methodist Church on Saturday night, when Florence May, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Cornwell was married to Frederick James youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W Fletcher of Bathurst. Rev. H. Kline officiated. The bride was charmingly attired in crinkled crepe, and wore the customary veil. Her bouquet was composed of chrysanthemums and roses. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Vera Cornwell (sister of the bride), and Miss Sheila Isley of Lithgow (niece of the bridegroom). They wore salmon pink morocain frocks with velvet hats and shoes to tone, and carried bouquets of pink roses and chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. R. Dunsford as best man, and Mr. G. Merrick of Lithgow as groomsman. Miss Makepeace presided at the organ. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents where the guests were received by Mrs. E. Cornwell mother of the bride, who was daintily attired in a frock of navy blue crepe dechene. The happy couple later left for Wollongong where the honeymoon will be spent. Their future home will be in Bathurst.
