GANDON - HIGGINS.
The marriage of Mr. Newman H. Gandon, of the Bank of New South Wales, Millthorpe, with Miss Edith Florence Higgins, of 'Roseneath' Gunnedah, was solemnised on Tuesday at St. James' Church, King-street. The Rev. P. S. Moore officiated. The bride's gown of white satin was finished with shadow lace and pearl garnitures, the Court train being of shirred tulle, and an embroidered tulle veil was arranged with orange blossoms. Miss C. Godhard acted as maid-of-honor. Mr. John Sydney Godhard was best man. Later a reception was held at Baumann's Cafe, where Mrs. J. Higgins received the guests, who included Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Addison, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Higgins, Mr. and Mrs. Godhard and Misses Benton (Gundagai), McKenny, and Kathleen Quilter (Goburralong).
