Samuel Maisey b 1802 London shows on a Goal delivery 9 Sept 1818 – sentence = Life

Arrived 26 June 1819 on ship “Baring 2”- b London,age 18 - trade a Groom sentenced at Middlesex to Life for s street robbery, 5ft 8”, fair complexion eyes blue – off his TOL 29/409 15 July 1829. Rec Conditional pardon 31 Dec 1836.

Samuel married Mary Ann Cork 1843 Hunter’s Hill NSW and he died 1898 Redfern NSW.

Mary Ann Cork b 1812 London arrived at age 16 according to article = 1828 – her death 1899 says in Colony 65 yrs = arrived 1834 - age at death says 81yrs = b 1818

Their son George Benjamin Maisey b 27 Nov 1836 Sydney to above Samuel & Mary Ann Maisey nee Cork – (before parent's married )–
George married 1860 to Annie Moore (from North Ireland – who arrived in Sydney 1841 with parents Robert & Eliza Moore ) and she died 8th June 1917 NSW – George died 13 Dec 1912 Windsor. Aged 76 yrs - 9 children

These two had a son also called George Benjamin Maisey b 1865 who married Mary Ann Rose 22 Aug 1891 NSW and he died 3 March 1931 age 66 yrs, Mary Ann died 10 Nov 1946. – 10 children.

MAISEY.-April 2 1880, at his residence, 154, Brighton-terrace, Devonshire-street, Samuel Maisey, after a long and painful illness, which he bore with Christian fortitude. Aged 78 years. = born 1802 & fits for the convict one.

Samuel Maisey’s death 1898 is son of Samuel & Mary Ann nee Cork born 1844 NSW

Friends of: Sons George & Samuel, Son-in-Laws - John Hogan, Mr Sydney Cunningham, Mr James Salisbury invited to attend the funeral of Samuel Maisey….

And for wife Mary Ann nee Cork death SMH 5 May 1899 –
MAISEY.-May 1, 1899, at the residence of her son-in-law, 6 Douglas-street, Redfern, Mary Ann Salisbury, relict of the late Mr. Samuel Maisey, sen., many years a resident of Surry Hills, 65 years a resident of the colony, aged 81 years, leaving 7 children, 47 grandchildren, and 42 great-grandchildren surviving. Her end was peace. Interred at Rookwood.
