Thanks Geoff.

I said Newtown because that's all I have from both deaths and nothing in 1930.

5006/1919 McEVOY MICHAEL MICHAEL ALICE SYDNEY * 3 Jun 1919

Son married in Newtown not in the more 'wealthy' suburbs further east.

13559/1916 McEVOY BERNARD J - WAINWRIGHT FLORENCE E - NEWTOWN * 28 Oct 1916

There is this one as well

Death McEVOY EMILY JANE 20441/1947 75 YRS GLADESVILLE DRUMMOYNE

Darling Point is very much upper middle class which does not seem to fit the family - Newtown and Waterloo very much working class.

All the Mc and Mac in my tree seem to vary in different records between the two. I noticed searching that if you enter one you don't get both.

Thanks Geoff.

I'm not having much luck with Mc/Mac in 1903 an 1913.

Married in Braidwood, all children born Braidwood, daughter married in Braidwood 1910, Sarah died in Braidwood as did husband, both buried in Braidwood.

I think Queanbeyan does not fit.

Braidwood is also in District of Monaro.

Thanks Geoff.

I think the family never left Braidwood. One place I have not visited. The road through the town is not good for coaches so bus companies rarely offer a tour that includes the town.
