Marriage 1969/1874 McINNES DONALD - ALLSTAINS SARAH - BRAIDWOOD * 4 Mar 1874

1917 NSW Electoral Roll - Eden-Monaro - Braidwood
McINNES Donald, Bombay road, Braidwood, labourer
McINNES Sarah, Bombay road, Braidwood, home duties
McINNES James Kerr, Bombay road, Braidwood, labourer

Death 17227/1919 MACINNES SARAH J ROBERT - BRAIDWOOD * 23 Jul 1919

Is that Donald junior in 1917 and is this the death of Donald who married in 1874 ?

Death 13037/1902 McINNES DONALD ALEXANDER ISABELLA - BRAIDWOOD * 26 Nov 1902

If the Donald who married in 1874 is in 1917 then I don't have a death.

If it's Sr, possibly missed off the 1913 E/R

Yes, Looks like junior in 1917. At least one should be in 1913.

Can't find anything in Trove yet for 1902 death.

Had another look in 1913 for McInnes, checked manually most of the sub-d's for Monaro including Braidwood, also checked Bombay Road, no McInnes' in 1913 in Bombay Road.

The only McInnes' in Braidwod:
M'Innes James Kerr, labourer
M'Innes Sarah, dd
Jillamatong

The Sydney Monitor (NSW : 1828 - 1838 ) Fri 27 Oct 1837 Page 3
Scotch Emigrants.
The ship William Nicol, 408 tons, McAlpine,
master, has just arrived from the Isle
of Skye, west coast of Scotland— bringing
311 Emigrants, comprising 69 males and
73 females— adults ; and 169 children.
The vessel has not yet come up the har-
bour, but from information we have re-
ceived, we understand that the emigrants
are chiefly shepherds, and are represented
as a sober, industrious, and frugal race.

A list of trades but no names.

Not a Bounty vessel. Sponsored by British Govt not by that of Colony of NSW.

Curious.

One site says it was a bounty vessel. There is no film listed

WILLIAM NICOL .. 10 1837 Botany Bay ... ... JA1 [film]

JA1: Immigrants per CORNWALL & WILLIAM NICOL; list of Bounty passengers -
NSW Oct 1837 from Isle of Skye
JA2: Immigrants per CORNWALL & WILLIAM NICOL; list of Bounty passengers -
NSW Sep 1839 from Isle of Skye
