Death 1290/1856 PLAYFORD SARAH - WILLIAM - SARAH - OCONNELL TOWN

Burial V18565211 122A/1856 PLAYFORD SARAH

The Sydney Morning Herald - Sat 29 Mar 1856 p.9
DEATHS
At her residence, Newtown, Mrs. Sarah Playford, after a long and painful illness, March 28th, 1856, aged 60 years. Or is it 66 ?

Death PLAYFORD HENRY 2494/1864 JAMES DIED ST PETERS - ST GEORGE * 20 Aug

Can't find a death or funeral notice or obituary.

So far I can't find a marriage before 1839 for Henry Playford to Sarah. (Sarah Elizabeth Goodsell 18 Nov 1831 Beckley, E Sussex ??)

Bap PLAYFORD RICHARD 1619/1839 V18391619 23A HENRY - SARAH

Trees on Anc, suggest 1831 Beckley. FreeReg has a number of those records, but not those names/date.

FS has a tree that suggests Nov 1821 Beckley.

The Sydney Morning Herald - Sat 25 Dec 1920 p.6
DIAMOND WEDDINGS
PLAYFORD - ROOTES.-December 26, 1860, at her parents' residence, Marahdale Farm, Cobbity, near Camden, N.S.W., by the Rev. W. Clarke, Methodist Minister, Lydia, third daughter of the late James Rootes, to Richard, youngest son of the late Henry Playford, of Newtown. Present address: Rosemount, Northcote-street, Canterbury.

Don't know if that is Marahdale or Marshdale.

Camden Museum says Marshdale. It looks like Marahdale in the newspaper.
