WICKENS-SILVA.-August 23, 1905, at St. Barnabas Church (C. of E.), by the Rev. W. A. Charlton, Albert, youngest son of John Wickens, of Shoalhaven, to Elizabeth (Cissie), eldest daughter of Joseph and Catherine Silva of Alexandria.

Father - John Wickens in Sands for 1915 at Bomaderry (a Engineer) died April 1926 Bomaderry.

Found a A G Wickens buried Bomana War Cemetery New Guinea.
Wickens A.G. Australian Merchant Navy U.S. Small ships Sect. 8 November 1943. A3 E. 27.

NSW Deceased Estate Files - 76703 has Albert George Wickens of Small Ships Transportation Corps death 8 Nov 1943 - Probate 7 March 1945. to Elizabeth Maud Wickens.
Occupation US Army - Chief Engineer.
ERs has their home address as Stacey St Bankstown 1930.

Two different newspaper reports list different days for her death. One descendant believes she died the following day not later in the evening of the same day.

I have found too many errors in the NSW index to believe any date there without checking.
