1939 register - error reporting

After searching for someone on the 1939 register and having no luck, I tried Ancestry and found who I was looking for on the Electoral registers.
SO they were where I thought they were but they are not on the 1939 register - very strange.
The best I could do was find the nearest house and step back through the images - low and behold they are there - they had not been transcribed.
BUT the error reporting system only allows you to report on what had been transcribed but not an omission
Just got to live with it I suppose?
