Norman b. 1894 or 1895 died in 1983 in Lancashire.

Norman was a landscape artist.

As Edith was about 12 yrs older than her husband it looks as if she was trying to loose a few years.

It seems strange that Norman is no. 1 in the household and Edith no. 5 with other apparently non-family members between. I have never seen a husband and wife split up like that.

I'm not sure when Edith died. Day and month and middle initial ok but split up on the register.

I'm off to the local library so must run for the bus.

That looks to be the right death with date that matches the dob in NSW index.

Probate London 12 March. £1573.


Attestation paper for Norman has him as 22 on 31 Oct 1916.

I have confirmation the birth certificate has 16 Oct 1894.

So the 1939 register and the death notice and the bio all have 1895 for some reason.
