I have a relative - Edwin Hockley b 22 Apr 1908 whom I found living in Tottenham on the 1939 register - he is shown as married but on his own, another man is also living there also married but no one else shown.
On the record for Edwin opposite his record is a cryptic comment see page 132 (cannot be sure as its cropped)
Looking at the next record and Edwin is again shown with the same information but this record has 5 blacked out records following.
The question now is this the missing family or other families as this second sheet appears to be a rehash of the first possibly a revisit or whatever.
Just to many unknowns to be sure of anything:'(
