1939 Census has - Walter H Cook b 9 June 1888 – married a Grocer(Shopkeeper) with a Howard N Cook b 22 Oct 1914 single assistant shopkeeper and a David Cook b 14 Feb 1929 at school at 9 Broad Street Axbridge RD Somerset – Ref: RG101/7058F/012/2 Letter Code: WPDD – no Amy showing, couple of possibles for her death – 1 in 1938..

Walter & Amy had 9 children between 1913 and 1929 (freebmd)

Walter did remarry - On Walter Howard Cook’s Will 1953 has:

His 1st marriage was 1910 at Axbridge to Eva Marks, - she died Dec 1910 age 20 – Axbridge Vol 5c page 315

then to Amy in 1912 and then again in 1947

Kathleen Cordial Jane Wane nee Hack b 17 Oct 1907 died Jan qtr 1998 Taunton Somerset – parents William Henry Hack & Ruth Law
Kathleen Cordilia Jane HACK married 1st in Oct qtr to Leonard F Wane/Ware – Long Ashton Somerset – Leonard died 4 July 1941 Clevedon Somerset then married Walter 1947

A death for Howard N Cook?

This is a problem too being before 1939. Rhoda might have been with family otherwise. Or may be not if record was closed as no death or remarriage for her has been found.
