After a long time of searching and hoping to break down more brickwalls I have managed to find out which one of my Suffolk John Fairweather's was my ancestor and I also found the baptism of Margaret Rand, who wed Robert Wallaker in 1754. Margaret was born in Liston, Essex to William Rand and Hannah Lorkin. Maggie had a sister Sarah Rand who wed Robert's brother Samuel Wallaker. for some reason, when she wed in 1754 she mentioned her father was William Rand.

My ancestor was a Lorkin Wallaker born 1761 son of Rob and Margaret.

Distant cousins have found more info on the Rand and Lorkin's. William Rand's mother was a Golding from Cavendish apparently and her mother was Rose Ives.

I am on a roll as I broke down another brickwall today at Suffolk RO. I get more sense out of the originals than the new IGI which is totally hopeless since they "updated" it. They broke what was fixed.
