I have not yet found a death for Catherine with other surname McDonald or Bethune.

It's even possible the the maiden name of Catherine in the 1851 census I posted is also McLeod.

Not easy Geoff when no baptism abt 1832 can be found for Rachel, the daughter of one of the Angus in Stornoway.

Not much help not knowing if the two deaths you posted were before or after 1861 census.
