No mention at all of Lily. It does not solve the problem but could we assume from that?
It's the right birth and Lily was effectively disowned.

Conclusion: Birth for the right Lily still not confirmed.

Lily Theatone nee Evans is the one I am looking for. She married NSW BDMs 6460/1935 at Chatswood to Charles W Theakstone. The Divorced 5208/1945 & got Decree nisi January 1950 from Sydney Morning Herald.
Also SMH 7 Nov 1950 They apparently were back in court for custody. I presume for my sister Maureen.
Dave has SMH 8 May 2004 death notice 6 May for Theakstone Lily nee Evans passed away peacefully aged 95 so born abt 1909, much loved mother of Maureen. This Maureen is my sister.
