can't find details of the 1859 marriage but in 1861 the couple have with them George's sister in law Caroline Hirst age 14 born Huddersfield (i.e. Mary Ann's sister)
In 1851 there is a possible family at Kirk Moor Place Huddersfield:-

Hannah Hirst, 39,
Mary Whitely Hirst, 15 servant (but note this is Mary, not Mary Ann)
Caroline Hirst, 4
Ann Hirst, 12
Hannah Hirst jun 4mth.

I wonder whether Caroline & Hannah are the children of this marriage and Mary & Ann were from a previous marriage to Whitely?

Looking at George J S Greener's brother's and sisters, their father was a Primitive Methodist minister who moved his family around the UK a lot before they settled in Yorkshire. I expect the 1859 Hirst/Greener marriage took place in a Primitive Methodist church which explains why the image of the entry is not available.
