I presume you have checked FS - https://www.familysearch.org/search...iverpool, lancashire"~ +birth_year:1850-1860~
you could also check with West Derby instead of Liverpool
should keep you out of mischief for a while

Age is right but that census record says immigration year 1860 so it's not my William.

So there seem to be no sign of my William in 1881. So when and where did he die?
