i have in my hand the ww1 victory medal , the inscription on the edge reads
"37858 pte a.c brown d of corn l.i . (duke of cornwalls light infantry i suspect)

A friend has asked me to find out what i can, However i can find no trace of medal card service, pension or death records!!!!

would anybody care to help

There is an Arthur Challis Brown born J/S 1899 in Wandsworth.
this may be him in 1901
