The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954)
Tuesday 4 April 1916

etc etc
His Honor granted probate, on condition that no portion of the estate should be distributed or paid during the war to any beneficiary or creditor of German nationality, whether resident or not, or to anyone in his behalf, or to or on behalf of any person resident in Germany, without the express sanction of the Crown, and that if any distribution was made contrary to this condition, probate would be forthwith revoked.
