Hi genies, me again, with another problem, in 2013 I had a terrific amount of help from various members in sorting out a family that I had difficulties with.
My problem now is, an entry on a death certificate.
The informant was an elder son.
He has put so much info on the certificate, and also lists the infant deaths, and the person I have been researching as an immediate family member, is on it?
Mary Ann(e) Griffin who was under-age at RC marriage on 30 January 1861, Goulburn, NSW, to Ezra Joseph Patmore
Consent was given by "her widowed mother Anne Clement Griffin" ( we can't place her),
Her birth has to be between 1840 (20 at marriage) and 1847 (15 at marriage)
She is ( going by the cert.),NOT the Mary Griffin in NSW Registry 862/1843 (born 22/1/1843, baptised RC East Maitland 3/2/1843), parents Patrick griffin and Bridget/Hunt.
She died as Mary A. Patmore at Cook's Hill, Newcastle, NSW, on 29 August 1927
Obituary states she was 84 in 1927 and was "a native of Goulburn"
Buried RC section of Sandgate Cemetery, Newcastle.
Where do I go from here? Thanks, Joan:confused:
